The Sam Pepper Project

A popular YouTuber, Sam Pepper, has gotten himself into quite some trouble. Although, I can’t say that I’m at all surprised. I've watched a few of his videos and I've seen many cases of him harassing women. Viewers accuse him of hiring actors for these videos but even assuming all the women in all of his videos are actors, what type of image are you trying to portray to your viewers? I wouldn't be okay having someone with little respect towards women make money off of viewers which are mostly kids. More recently he released a “prank” video of him pinching random women butts. Later, after receiving a lot of comments from offended viewers he release a video of a woman pinching men butts trying to level the field. When that didn’t work Sam then release another video stating that it was all an experiment. Even congratulating the ones who were offended because they should be concerned about this matter. We all know he was just trying to cover up the truth. 

What makes things worst is that now there have been allegations of him harassing and sexually assaulting women and goes as far as rape. These allegations come from YouTube videos of women telling their experience with Sam Pepper. This has ruined his partnership with YouTube and a few other companies. I believe him getting cut from these partnerships was right because you wouldn't want an individual like that representing your company or anyone's company, also because he isn’t someone you want influencing others.

All these allegations of him raping these girls are exactly what it is, just allegations. But you have to understand that this is a serious situation that needs to be closely looked upon. You don't want to accuse him of doing something illegal until proven guilty. It is questionable why only now that Sam's vulnerable would they release their stories. Although I understand why they didn't either. If all these things are true then I hope he gets what he deserves, if not then he needs to grow up.
